Giving the address of "Quan An Ngon" to other people in the EAP program who are lost! This is my feeble translation (common, I've only taken four months of Vietnamese)..."QUAN"=District...such as American postal codes, remember, my address now says 'Quan Thanh Xuan' which is Thanh Xuan District....An could mean "TO EAT" or also "PEACEFUL"..according to where the accents are, being useless for me since the restaraunt sign and card does not use accents....and "NGON" means tasty...so asssuming I have the QUAN part right (since I can't remember any other meanings) I am going to assume that the AN part is a pun, so the restaurant name translates to "A Tasty and Peaceful restaurant in this district"....hahah i'm a dork!
