This is a picture of the Logo for this years SEA games, which were held in the Phillipines. Tonight Vietnam lost the soccer title to Thailand. It was an exciting game, until the end when it became brutally clear that Vietnam would suffer a shutout. It was funny though, hearing from all around, people throughout the entire city screaming at the same time. Gerard was talking to me this morning about how he probably would not watch the game because he doesn't like nationalism, and wants to move away from the idea. I agree with him, nationalism causes wars and seperation, but gosh, it was really cool. BTW, I thought Vietnam was playing pretty dirty, so they need to step it up a notch, take out the body punches and shin kicks, and beat everyone's butt next year!
