After visiting Bao Dai's pad, we went to another Buddhist pagoda. We listened to the head of the pagoda for awhile, and then had a lovely vegetarian lunch. On the way out, this old monk would not let Saku go. Saku is use to getting comments, stares, giggles, for his hight (2 meters), but doesn't usually get grabbed and hugged. Thua Thay, pictured, would not let go of Saku for minutes, and he was like almost crying. It was pretty crazy. Saku seemed annoyed at first, although hiding it well, but then he realized that this could be the highlight of an old man's month, so he hugged him back and showed him the pictures we took, and such.
