At this point, my camera died, and I neglected to take my camera battery charger with me on our Southern trip. So, tomorrow I am going to go around to everyone's room, with Kristy's little memory card thing, and steal pictures from other people's cameras to put up. I had them take a lot, so don't worry. Such pictures include me in my wet suit, with my oxygen tank on the back (hehe I went scuba diving today in the chillest city ever, Nha Trang), and such. So I will hopefully have more pictures up soon. Its good to be back in Ha Noi, and I'm really really sad that the program is winding down, and I'll have to say goodbye in about a month!One funny incident to leave you with...
Steffanie: "Cô le, cô le...cô le..."
(Thuy just gives me a blank look)
Steffanie: "cô le...common!! cô le...cô le"
Thuy: "OHHHH, Lighter!!"
Steffanie: (as everyone is laughing) "Thuy, I was attempting to say 'Maybe'"
(btw I'm really annoyed that blogger.com is not letting me type all the accents right. That e on the le is suppose to have a sqwiggly mark over it, but its not letting me put it up like Microsoft word does) *anyways....
To me this proves that I am going to have a VERY hard time becoming fluent in Vietnamese. No matter how hard I try, improving my accent is like walking on my hands...possible, but ...you know.
