Bao Ninh is a real drinker, but he stays sober enough to sign all of our books. About half of us had bootleg copies, so they all had to go today and yesterday to find real copies....Some thought that Bao Ninh, living through poverty and destruction would not mind a cheap bootleg copy, but when he was inspecting this book thoroughly, it became apparent that it was a good idea to go search out real copies...
