I just scooped up this water from a historically important well. This well and a tree (not pictured) are the only relics that remain from the village that pre-collonial revolutionaries came from. After the Nguyen dynasty finally crushed the Tay Son and their short lived empire...the Nguyen dynasty went to the village and destroyed everything and killed everyone. Anyways, okay, history lesson would take too long. But the Tay Son Revolution is a very interesting period in Vietnamese history. And the water was tasty too.
